Tank-riding infantry waits alongside a road in Grand Rechain, Belgium.  WWII E Company, 36th Armored Infantry Regiment veteran Jim Cullen commented that this was not uncommon at this point in the war.  He further speculated that the 83rd Recon had probably hit a roadblock, and the column halted until it was cleared.
